Community guidelines
Version 2026-09-29 · In force since 29 September 2026
EduRails is a space for adults to learn alongside their class, academy or company. These guidelines apply to everything other people can see: the feed, duels, leaderboards, your name, your username and your avatar.
What is not allowed
Harassing, humiliating, threatening or insulting anyone, inside or outside a duel. Discriminating on the grounds of origin, religion, sex, orientation, disability or any other condition.
Posting or sending sexual or violent content or content that encourages self-harm, and using offensive names, usernames or avatars.
Sharing personal data, yours or someone else's: phone number, address, email, social media or photos. Asking someone to carry on the conversation outside EduRails.
Impersonating someone else, sending spam or cheating in duels, games or exams.
Only for people aged 18 or over
EduRails is only for adults: everyone confirms they are 18 or over the first time they sign in. If you think an account belongs to a minor, report it.
On your institution’s leaderboards you appear with your name and your drawn avatar; if you prefer not to, you can hide yourself. Nobody uploads photos: everyone uses their avatar.
Reporting and blocking are always available, even if your institution has not turned on social features.
How to report and block
Use “Report” on a feed post, in a duel or on a person’s profile and choose the reason. Whoever reports stays anonymous: neither the reported person nor the moderators see your name.
Your reports show whether they have been reviewed, but not the decision: what is decided about another person is their data.
Blocking someone means you won't see each other in the feed, won't be matched in a duel and can't rate or react to each other, in any institution you share. You can undo it at any time. Teachers and your institution's administrators cannot be blocked.
Who moderates
Each institution moderates its own space: its administrators review reports and decide. Teachers can report but do not decide.
Whatever the institution cannot or should not settle on its own (someone’s safety, illegal content or something that affects several institutions) is passed on to the Valfiguer team, who provide EduRails. Valfiguer only sees what is passed on.
Every decision is recorded with who took it, when and about what, without the name of the person who reported.
Timeframes
The aim is to review a report within 5 working days. Anything affecting someone's safety, within 24 hours of reaching the Valfiguer team.
A reported avatar stops being visible straight away, until someone reviews it. Illegal content is removed as soon as it is known and, where the law requires it, reported to the authorities.
What measures can be taken
Depending on how serious it is and whether it happens again: hiding content (or restoring it if the report is unfounded), removing an avatar, warning the person, suspending their social features for 1 to 90 days in that institution or suspending their account in the institution.
Valfiguer can also deactivate an account across the whole platform when the seriousness justifies it.
If you disagree with a decision
Write to your institution's administrators explaining why. If the decision was taken by Valfiguer, or if your institution does not answer within 10 working days, write to hola@edurails.com and someone other than the person who decided will review it.
For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@edurails.com.
