Cookie policy

Version 2026-09-27 · In force since 27 September 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Here we explain which ones we use on edurails.com, which is run by 3XA ECOM LLC, a company established in the United States. Inside the platform (app.edurails.com) we only use the essential technical ones; analytics runs only on the public website and only if you accept it.

Technical cookies (always on)

access_token and refresh_token: keep you securely signed in (HttpOnly, not readable from JavaScript). They last 15 minutes and 30 days respectively, and are removed when you sign out.

edurails_lang: remembers your language for one year.

We also store in your browser, without cookies, the light or dark theme and your answer about analytics cookies.

They are needed for the service to work, so they do not require your consent.

Analytics (only with your consent)

Only on the public website edurails.com and only if you click "Accept" in the notice, we measure which pages are visited. Never inside the learning platform.

By default we use our own measurement, which sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: our servers in the European Union add up, per day, the visits to each page and a few events (for example, that the demo form was sent), without your IP address, without a device identifier and without the exact address. Those totals are deleted after 13 months.

If we enable Google Analytics 4, it is also loaded only after you click "Accept": it sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, which last at most 13 months, and it is provided by Google, which may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies for commercial purposes.

How to change your choice

You can change your answer at any time with the "Cookie settings" button on this page or in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop measuring and delete any analytics cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block the technical ones, you will not be able to sign in.
