Course editor guide
For people who create content in their institution. The courses you create are private: only your institution sees them. Global catalog courses are published by Valfiguer.
Creating a course
- Open the editor and click New course.
- Fill in the title, description, level, topic and cover (JPG, PNG or WebP image).
- Save: the course starts as a draft and nobody else sees it.
Modules and lessons
Organise the course into modules and lessons and reorder them by dragging. Each lesson is written in a rich editor (headings, lists, code, tables and images) that saves as you type, with a preview.
Quizzes and exam
Add practice quizzes to lessons with the question builder and set the course final exam: number of questions, time and pass mark. Passing it issues the certificate with your institution’s template.
Translations
If your learners study in Spanish and English, the translations view shows every text in both languages side by side so you can fill in what is missing.
Publishing
When you click Publish, a checklist warns you about anything missing (empty lessons, an exam without questions, the cover). A published course appears in your institution’s catalog; the admin decides which cohorts get it.
Changes to a published course show up when you save them; learners’ progress is kept.
